CHARLIE DI PLACIDO

CHARLIE DI PLACIDO
Charlie Di Placido, a director from Paddington, West London, has built a 15+ year career blending film, music, and movement. He first gained recognition in 2014 with his viral visuals for JUNGLE’s debut album, helping define a new era of dance-led music videos.
He later directed acclaimed narrative films for UK rap artist Nines, including Crop Circle and Crabs in a Bucket, and brought powerful visuals to projects like Fly The Flag and the Black British Theatre Awards. His standout work includes Volcano, JUNGLE’s full-length visual album featuring the viral hit “Back on 74” and the iconic performance of lead dancer Will West.
Charlie has also directed campaigns for brands like GAP, SWISS, and Pella Windows, and continues to innovate with his latest visual album for Loaded Honey. Known for fusing sound, story, and choreography, his work remains bold, cinematic, and culturally resonant.
